CareerSchoolFinder is an independent directory designed to help prospective students and parents make informed decisions about career education. We are not a lead-generation site, and we do not sell student information.
Our methodology
Every school profile is built from public records:
- Accreditation: Verified against the official directory of the relevant accrediting agency (ACCSC, COE, ABHES, regional commissions).
- State authorization: Cross-checked with the regulatory agency in each state where the school operates.
- Tuition, length, outcomes: Sourced from school disclosures, IPEDS, and accreditor annual reports. Each data point links to its source.
- Last verified date: Every record shows when we last confirmed the data.

- U.S. Department of Education — College Scorecard, IPEDS, DAPIP accreditation database
- U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics — Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics
- State postsecondary regulatory agencies
- Recognized institutional and programmatic accreditors
- Schools' own published consumer disclosures
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your contact information with schools.
- We don't accept payment for higher placement in listings.
- We don't use high-pressure tactics or fake countdowns.
